Yuji Yamawaki and Keita Koizumi started making music in Yuji’s bedroom in Chiba.
Yuji went to the Art University in 2008 and met Takuya Lizuka, and together they formed the group “Chicken Hotel”.
In 2009 Yuji asked Keita to join the line-up and the new group “Hagureyagi” was born.
“Hagureyagi” performed at various live venues in Tokyo and then in 2011 Yuji Kosugi joined the group.
In 2012 they created their own label, “Portrait”, with Pony Canyon Artists.
They released their first album, “Hagureyagi EP”.
All music and lyrics are by Yuji Yamawaki.
Alongside his music career, Yuji has also had exhibitions both in Japan and abroad.
